Tony FordeTony Forde was born in Leeds of a Donegal mother and Mayo father. His family is steeped in Irish musical folklore. He made his debut on the Irish music scene when he was just seven years of age, his uncle, the late John McCadden, a Donegal Town character in his own right, set him up on a bar stool in Joe Gildae's Pub in Donegal Town. Here he astounded the customers with his rendition of the classic song 'A Mother's Love's a Blessing'.
And the rest, as they say is History !! Playing with some of the UK's top Showbands in the 70's, he has spent over 20 years in music entertainment in the UK, Ireland, Canada and the USA.
Married to Edie, their three sons are all involved in the entertainment business.
Tony's love for his mother's birthplace is so strong he decided to build a house in Donegal Town.
In 2010, he recorded some of his favourite old Country, Irish & Donegal songs for a special album for the Solace Cancer Support Group in Donegal.
Tony sings and plays acoustic, guitar, lead guitar, mandolin and foot pedal accompaniments
